Department of Information and Communication Technology (Dict) Mindanao Cluster 3 regional director Erlito Tancontian said Dito committed to serve around 25 to 27 megabits per second (mbps) to about 30 percent of the whole population in the entire country for its first year of operation.
It targets to fully serve the subscribers by March 2021 as mandated in the Certificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) issued to them by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
Dito chief technology officer Rodolfo Santiago has also reported that they have so far installed 721 towers.
